Caregiver of the Month – August

Jon joined the team in February. A very ambitious college student seeking additional caregiver experience while working to go to Med School. Jon has been a fabulous addition. His calm, cool and collected personality allows him to adapt to new situations.

1. What’s one thing you love most about working here? I have enjoyed taking my time to get to know each person I work with individually. I go the extra mile to adapt to their needs. 

2. What’s a project or achievement you’re most proud of this month? I think my biggest achievement when working with one of my clients was getting to know what” Ow” meant each time he used it to communicate.” Ow” in this case was most often not describing pain but had many meanings. Once I learned them, I was able to better anticipate his needs. 

3. If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? An orthopedic surgeon

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know? I can start a fire using a knife

5. If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be? I would like to master the pollical game and succeed in business

6. What’s your favorite way to recharge after work?  I love to cook, last week I made Duck a’ l’Orange a French dish.

7. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? I learned working in sales, “Life is like a pendulum if you don’t get too excited about the upswings you will find the downswings less devastating”. 

8. If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be? Innovative, Caring and Intelligent

9. What’s your favorite Holiday, why? St. Patrick’s Day. I love the spirit and the character in the celebration. Who doesn’t love a good corn beef. 

10. If you could have lunch with any historical or famous figure, who would it be? Julius Caesar or Marcus Aurelius, I would love to know what they were really like beyond what we have been taught throughout history.

Caregiver of the Month – July

Kim and her grandmother had an amazing relationship. Kim assisted her while she was under hospice care. They spent time going out for coffee and reading together. So when her church was looking for volunteers to partner with Legacy Hospice it really interested Kim. After several years of volunteering and discovering she loved this line of work she decided to apply to be a caregiver.

1. What’s one thing you love most about working here? I love getting to know the clients
2. What’s a project or achievement you’re most proud of this month? I wrote a children’s book called and making people happy
3. If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? I would choose News Anchor.
4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know? I take care of my mother in her home
5. If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be? Math
6. What’s your favorite way to recharge after work? Ice my back and rest
7. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Don’t always think you’re right, see others’ point of view
8. If you had to describe your work style in three words, what would they be? Organized, clean, compassionate
9. What’s your favorite snack or drink during the workday? Chocolate and infused water
10. If you could have lunch with any historical or famous figure, who would it be? I would choose Jesus
11. What’s one song that always boosts your mood? I love Christian music.

Caregiver of the Month – June

Carla began working for Timeless Homecare in January 2026. Carla is no stranger to the Healthcare industry. With over 30 years of caregiver experience Carla brings not only her knowledge of senior care needs, but most importantly her servant heart. Carla has impeccable attendance and goes above and beyond to cover open shifts and swap with co-workers as needed. Some fun facts I learned about Carla include:

1. What’s one thing you love most about working here? I love the ability to help seniors continue to live their best life the way they want.

2. What’s a project or achievement you’re most proud of this month? I am a mother of 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

3. If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? I would love to go work on a farm and how to grow crops. “I love Gardening”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know? I went bungee jumping, it was fantastic!

6. If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be? I would like to learn more nursing skills

7. What’s your favorite way to recharge after work? Get outside and dig in my garden

8. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Something my mother taught me, “Live each day in the moment, and take life with a grain of salt!”

9. If you had to describe your work style in three words, what would they be? “I love it”
